Message The difference between good customer service would be the following:

>1. you asked for a custom part, they might be a bit busy, and didnt get back to you right away. they have to go through channels (talk to fabricator, etc) for a custom part, and the profit margins on a driveshaft would not be high so im sure they didnt drop everything just for you.

Inform the customer of a rough time table to get the part made, and continue updating the customer as progress is made.

>2. they got your postal code correct? did the packages got to your house on time? so some boys from georgia spelled your city wrong... when i tell someone i am from hollidaysburg, PA. i dont expect them to spell the name right, if they have the zip code it will get here fine.

Fix the error on the shipping address when a customer informs you.

>3. the pulley kit was most likely on backorder, if they didnt have it in stock and neither did unorthodox, you will have to wait.

Inform the customer that the unit is on backorder when the order is placed, instead of telling them 1-2 days and everything will ship. If its realized 1-2 days later that the unit is backordered, to inform the customer at that point that there will be delays and ask them if they want to cancel the order or wait.
